The City of Cockburn is committed to making sure that events held at the City are accessible and inclusive of people with disabilities. To achieve this the City will;
Provide a secure and or raised viewing area at major concerts for people who because of their disability are unable to stand ti see the stage.
Provide transport to and from events for people who because of their disability are unable to get to events independently. If you require transport assistance please phone the City of Cockburn on 9411 3444.
Provide staff at events that can provide support when required.
Provide a rest and recharge area for people who require a place to sit and recharge electric mobility devices.
Provide an appropriate amount of accessible, parking and accessible toilets at events.
If you have particular needs please contact the Disability Access and Inclusion Officer on 9411 3444.
The City of Cockburn is committed to ensuring that people with a disability can access and be included in events organised by the City.
There is a bus available to transport people with a disability to and from the Summer of Fun Events. To register please contact the City’s Disability Access and Inclusion Officer on 9411 3502.
There will be FREE POP CORN, tea, coffee, milo and TIM TAMS! Also look out for promo’s in the paper about how you can get your FREE picnic blanket!
